Casper TNG talked about his upbringing in Toronto during the opening clip of his first sit-down with VladTV. The music artist explained that both of his parents were mixed with multiple races and that his father was a JUNO Award-winning artist as part of a music group. However, his father later converted to Islam (along with his mother) and chose a life of religion over music. After talking about his household struggling, due to his parents having him as a teen, Casper also talked about his younger brother being a music artist and him staying out of trouble as a kid in order to pursue a basketball career.
