MANILA GREY is a Filipino duo made up of Soliven & Neeko. The ‘1z’ music video was created in early 2017 and was inspired by the distinct visuals of the Filipino culture. Working with director M64, the duo pushed to modernize the culture’s tropes by mixing trap and r&b elements along side locations and sets with character, capturing flaws and imperfections ultimately creating an aesthetic that has never been seen before.
