DVBLM is pronounced “Double M” which is short form for “Maraiika Music”. She was born in Toronto and was raised in Toronto/Brampton. Her Mother is Jamaican and Father is Guyanese. Growing up she was musically influenced by artist like Destiny’s Child, Aaliyah, Monica, Ciara, Missy Elliot & Timberland. She was the only female featured on 6buzz’s newest mixtape “Canada’s Most Wanted” and she is currently working on her own EP.
DVBLM is looking forward to touring on big stages with artists that inspire her.
She has been recognized and complimented by UK musical influences like Charlie Sloth & M1llionz as well has Dancehall artist Dexta Dapps & Rygin King. She is versatile but specializes in Drill, Dancehall & Hip-Hop.
