Andre De Grasse finished strong to win the gold medal in a Canadian record time of 19.62 seconds at Tokyo 2020. This is the first time a Canadian has won in 200m race in 93 years.
Back at the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, Andre De Grasse won a silver medal in the men’s 200m race in a time of 20.02 seconds. He was in the shadow of the greatest of them all. Usain Bolt won gold in every race he competed in during Rio 2016.
