Director X “Message To The Man Who Shot Me” Ted Talk
After his own experience as a victim of public gun violence, Director X embarked on a journey to understand why someone would shoot a target in a public environment, running the risk of endangering themselves and others. This talk reflects a personal quest for understanding, drawing on Director X’s reading of a sample of research, personal experience with violence, and a career creating images for a genre that often speaks of gun violence in glorifying ways.
